Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am located in Moranbah, central QLD; but love to travel, please get in contact if you would like a quotation as the cost may be less than you think.

  • I love natural light, thus prefer to shoot outdoor sessions late afternoon when the light is soft and most flattering.

If you are interested in a newborn studio session; these are conducted mid-morning to achieve the best light in the studio.

However, if these times don’t work for you, please get in touch and we can discuss a suitable time.

  • You’re not alone, I think everyone at some point in time has felt this way before having their photo taken.

It is my job to make you feel comfortable enough to be yourself during your session with me. This is the beauty of lifestyle photography.

Nothing is forced or expected, some of the best moments are captured when you’re not trying to pose a certain way. Just relax and trust me, and if you get stuck I can provide some guidance along the way.

  • Get in contact via any of my details provided below and I will respond as soon as possible. A deposit of $100.00 will be required to secure your date. Full and final payment is due 1 week prior to your session.

  • If you are able to provide me with 7 days notice of a cancellation, your deposit amount will be refunded in full. Unfortunately, if less than 7 days notice is provided the deposit amount of $100.00 will be forfeited due to the inability of being able to find someone to fill your session.

If the session is unable to take place due to weather; I am happy to work together to change the date of your session that suits both of us.

  • Wedding galleries will be delivered within 8 weeks of your special day via an online gallery and USB. All other sessions will be delivered within 4 weeks of your session date via an online gallery.

To access the online gallery, I will provide you with an email link, that you will be able to share with friends and family if you wish.

Online galleries stay active from 3-12 months depending on your package; after this period the gallery will automatically deactivate, thus it best to download all your images once received and save them in a safe place.

  • This question is more common than your think.

My style of photography is very natural, thus I want your wardrobe to reflect this too. Which means I like my clients to avoid turning up in matching jeans and white shirts.

I predominately photograph farming families, and I love nothing more when everyone wears just their normal work clothes and boots. How you guys would generally dress for a weekend of cattle work, or an afternoon around the property. Its best to wear what makes sense for the location were shooting in; this type of attire is real and how I would like to photograph you.

If that’s not your jam and you’d like to make more of a conscious effort with your attire, then simply wear something you feel great in that is also comfortable. My best word of advice is to choose Mums outfit first and then choose items of clothing that compliment.

Natural and neutral shades look the best; but avoid dressing any two people in the same colour as they tend to blend into one another; this is especially obvious with black or navy blue. Also avoid t-shirts with large logos, images or text on the front because they’re very distracting and will date quickly.

Also don’t be scared to add a little pattern and texture. Linen, cotton, denim, corduroy, and lace all work beautifully in photos.

If you need help or inspiration with clothing options, I can work with you once your session is booked to find suitable clothing options.

  • There’s nothing I haven’t seen, trust me. I have 2 little ones of my own and sometimes I understand that they need a bit of a meltdown to allow them to move on. Please don’t let this cause unnecessary stress that might ruin your experience. I’m not there to photograph cheesy fake smiles, I’m there to capture a time in your lives that’s real and if that means tantrums, then so be it!

  • Unfortunately, this is something I do not offer. I will remove the odd blemish, but that’s about it. Your session with me is an opportunity to connect with your loved ones and make some memories with them.
